Srinagar, January 17 (KNO) : An Ice Hockey match was played between District Police Leh and Canadian team on Police Ice Hockey Rink, Leh. Deputy High Commissioner Canada Ms Suyong Park was the chief guest on the occasion. Canadian team defeated District Police Len and won the match by 7-5. The chief guest Ms Suyong appreciated the role of Leh Police in imparting free ice hockey coaching to the poor and disabled children and in promoting the game of Ice hockey in Ladakh. Later the Deputy High Commissioner met several representatives of villages and assured all possible assistance from Canadian government in providing equipments and coaching in Ice Hockey.(KNO)
