Div Com seeks report on all grievances registered on CM's grievance cell | KNO

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 17 (KNO) : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today directed all Deputy Commissioners to submit an action taken report on all the grievances registered on CM's grievance cell so as to know the exact status of the grievances and possible remedial measures for their time bound disposal. The Div Com was speaking at a meeting in which Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner SMC and other officials of different departments participated. The DC's from other districts participated via Video Conferencing. The Div Com directed all Deputy Commissioners to compile a report of all grievances pertaining to various departments in their jurisdiction and submit the same to his office. He said that Chief Minister is very keen to help people in every possible way and she personally wants all problems to be resolved at the earliest. The Div Com also directed the DC's to submit fortnightly report of their tour programmes, to his office. The Div Com taking strong cognizance of reports about some encroachments near new National Highways connecting Srinagar with Anantnag directed the concerned DC's to take strict action against the violators and remove all encroachments immediately. The Div Com said that government is committed to preserve the pristine beauty of the new highway and nobody will be allowed to erect the encroachments.(KNO)
