DY CM chairs meeting on PIA charges | KNO

PIA Charges fixed at 8% for transmission, 8.5% for distribution works for various programmes

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 17 (KNO) : Deputy Chief Minister ,Dr Nirmal Singh today chaired the meeting of Project Implementation Agency (PIA) charges under IPDS, DDUGJY, RGGVY-II, PMDP and R-APDRP (Part-B) today at Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi. The Minister for Finance Dr Haseeb A. Drabu also attended the meeting. During the meeting certain issues pertaining to re-negotiation of Project Implementation Agency (PIA) charges of Power for transmission and distribution and RE works were discussed. It was decided that the charges would be 8 percent for the transmission works and 8.5percent for distribution networks. Union Power Secretary, Union Jt. Secretary Power, Commissioner/ Secretary PDD, Chairman Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd., Chairman and Managing Director PGCIL, Dev. Commissioner (Power) J&K, CEO -RECPDCL, CEO-RECTPCL attended the meeting. The Project implementing agencies who attended meeting are RECPDCL, PGCIL, and RECTPCL.(KNO)
