Ichgam Receiving Station being augmented : Dy CM | KNO

Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh informed the House that augmentation of Receiving Station from 1x6.3 MVA to 2x6.3 MVA, alongwith other system strengthening works at Ichgam, Budgam has been approved under DDUGJY at a cost of Rs 0.75 crore. He was replying to a question by Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi. However he said that the augmentation project was delayed due to litigation. “The tenders for the augmentation project were invited but subsequently cancelled. The re-tendering of the works could not be undertaken owing to ongoing litigation in High Court, Srinagar” Deputy Chief Minister said.(KNO)
