The Government forces resorted to vandalism in South Kashmir's Redwani village in Kulgam District on Saturday night.
The Locals said that Army launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area, post which they barged into the houses of locals and started vandalizing the property of locals.
"They entered into the houses and smashed everything including windows, doors, vehicles whatever met their eye," an eye witness told The Kashmiriyat.
A cordon and search operation had been launched in the locality on Saturday evening after which clashes began in the area between civilians and Government forces.
The Government forces had also fired in the air to disperse the protesters, however to no avail.
"The Army entered into our houses only to take satisfy their ego as they had failed to find anything during the search operation they conducted," the local said.
