Doctors Association Kashmir(DAK)President,Dr Suhail Naik has impressed upon the Govt that the demands of National Health Mission(NHM) staff should be addressed without any further delay. "Govt should give a patient hearing to their genuine demands and take some fruitful measures so that this long strike comes to an end",Dr Naik said. "It is pertinent to mention that the regular staff is overburdened, overstretched and exhausted beyond their working capacity and if it continues like that day is not far off when the whole health system will collapse",he further said. "NHM services are need of hour and they are part and parcel of the health system and due to the prevailing border tensions it has now become necessary that their services should come to play with immediate effect", he further elaborated DAK appeals the Hon'ble Chief Minister to take a humanely approach in the matter so that the their genuine demands are addressed. moreover DAK is ready to intermediate between Govt and NHM association leaders so that this deadlock is ended with a meaningful outcome.(KNO)
