Vacancies of medicos, paramedics in Gulabgarh to be filled soon : Bali Bhagat | KNO

Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today informed the Legislative Assembly that 11 posts of doctors and 48 posts of para-medics are presently vacant in various health institutions falling in Gulabgarh constituency. “All these posts have been referred to the concerned recruitment agencies for filling, and as soon as the selection is made the same shall be filled up accordingly” the Minister told Legislative Assembly in reply to a question of Legislator Mumtaz Ahmed. However, he said the Government has provided seven doctors and eleven para-medics under National Health Mission programme for smooth functioning of these health institutions. About availability of health care infrastructure in the constituency, the Minister said that of 45 health institutions, 37 are functioning in rented buildings. He said work on 11 buildings of among these institutions is in progress and rest will be taken up for construction according to the availability of resources. He further added that Government is committed to provide adequate infrastructure facilities for healthcare centres in the rural areas in a phased manner and as per the norms and status of the institution.(KNO)
