Srinagar, January 22 (KNO) : The Departmental Promotion Committee under the chairmanship of Additional Director General of Police Shri Munir Ahmad Khan has approved a huge chunk of promotions in favour of 1,555 constables of Executive Wing to the rank of Selection Grade Constables having lien and seniority with Kashmir Zone. The entire exercise has been completed on the directions of ADGP Shri Munir Ahmad Khan within the time bound manner on the eve of Republic Day 2018 as a token gift to the Jawans in particular and to their families in general. Shri Munir Ahmad Khan has felicitated the promoted officials and their families and expresses hope that they will strive to work for the public peace and order.(KNO)
