Leopard captured alive in Bhaderwah | KNO

BHADERWAH,JAN 23 (KNO) : The officials of forest department in a operation held at Kellar forest range of Bhaderwah sub district successfully captured a wild cat alive in village Manwa compartment 12/k here today evening . While talking to this media person , CF Chenab circle T B Singh IFS said that there was general complaint from the people of Kellar , Malothi , Manwa and its adjoining areas about the movement of a Leopards in the area added that on the bases of public inputs, forest department activated its team and successfully captured the two wild cat moving in the area.He said that after capturing the wild cat alive, they shifted it to Kishtwar. He said that the department officials which included range officer Neeru Bhaderwah Zaffarullah Sheikh are still camping in the area so that they could capture the other Leopard if found as well. He said that the people had cooperated the officials of the forest department and said that people had been asked not harm the animal and also appreciated the efforts of Kellar range of Bhaderwah . . He said that captured Leopard will either be shifted to Kashmir or Jammu zone in next few days .It is notable to mention here that in the morning forest department captured a Leopard from Khara area of Doda .(KNO)
