Asiea Naqash reviews functioning of Super- Specialty Hospitals | KNO

JAMMU, JANUARY 24 (KNO) : Minister of state Housing & Urban Development, Social Welfare, Health & Medical Education, Asiea Naqash, today convened a meeting to review functioning of Super Specialty Hospitals in Jammu and Srinagar. During the meeting, the Minister was informed about non-functioning of some important equipments which had been installed in Super- specialty hospital Srinagar including lifts, operation theatres, fire fighting system, EPABX system, which were installed by CPWD. She was also informed that AVR system has not been installed in these hospitals. The Minister directed the CPWD agency to make all non functional equipments functional within shortest possible time. She also directed for installation of requisite equipments in the hospital which are important for patient care besides taking necessary steps to make all units functional at the earliest. Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education Dr Pawan Kotwal, Chief Engineer CPWD, Principal GMC Srinagar, Joint Director Planning Health, and other officers of CPWD and Health and Medical Education attended the meeting.(KNO)
