BHADERWAH,JAN 26 (KNO) : 69th Republic Day was celebrated at Bhaderwah by hoisting Tricolour by Imam Din , KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner at Govt Hr Sec School boys , Bhaderwah .Contingents from the J-K Police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and NCC took part in the parade and ADC took salute at the march .The National anthem was recited by everyone present on the occasion .The students presented a mesmerizing patriotic and cultural program along with short speeches depicting their indomitable national spirit in the best possible manner.Energetic dance performances on patriotic songs were also presented by the students.Addressing the gathering, Chief guest paid tributes to the freedom fighters and highlighted their contribution for attaining freedom to India from British and said that Republic Day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the constitution of India.“It is the day to remember when the country’s constitution came into force on January 26, 1950 completing the country’s transition towards becoming an independent republic” he said.ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh , CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority Dr Rajinder , SDPO Brijesh Sharma , BDO Dr Mohammad Ashraf Zargar , Executive Engineer R&B Bashir Ahmed Khanday , BMO Dr Yudvir Kotwal , Tehsildar Masood Ahmed Rangraz , SHO Muneer Khan and other officers were also present on the occasion .(KNO)
