The deputy grand mufti of Jammu and Kashmir today said that it’s high time for the Muslims of India to demand for a separate country. “In India, Muslims are the second largest community. Pakistan was formed by 17 crore population and I think if same situation continues for Muslims, they should demand a separate country”, he said. The vice chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Personal board and deputy grand Mufti Nasir ul Islam on Tuesday said that Indian Muslims are being harassed on various pretexts and India is moving on a path of intolerance. Muslims are sometimes being harassed as for beef eating, sometimes on the name of love jihad and sometimes on the issue of Triple Talaq. He also lashed out at BJP-PDP government in the state for bringing destruction in Kashmir in a planned manner and said that they are pushing the Kashmir to the extreme. Reacting on the recent civilian killings, he said that India is an occupier and has falsely occupied Kashmir and sooner or later they will have to leave the Kashmir.(KNB)
