Ex-gratia released for blaze victims of Khanda Bawan, Nawakadal : Javid Mir | KNO

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 03 (KNO) : Minister for Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Javid Mustafa Mir today informed the House that an amount of Rs 5200 each family have been sanctioned in favour of fire victims at Khanda Bawan. The Minister was replying to a Calling Attention Notice moved by MLA Eidgah, Mubarak Gul in the Legislative Assembly in this regard. Giving details the Minister said that three residential houses were damaged partially at Khanda Bawan in a fire incident. He said an amount of Rs 5200 has been sanctioned in favour of each family. The Minister further informed that at Nawakadal one house was damaged fully and ex-gratia relief of Rs 101900 has been paid as per SDRF norms while Rs 5200 per family was paid to the partially damaged houses.(KNO)
