03 gamblers arrested in Srinagar : Police | KNO

Srinagar, February 10 (KNO) : Srinagar police has arrested three gamblers and recovered stake money of rupees 2,500 from the gambling spot. Acting on an information, a police party of Police Station Panthachowk raided a gaming site in Panthachowk area and arrested 03 gamblers who were identified as Parvaiz Ahmad Ganaie, Manzoor Ahmad Ganaie and Irshad Ahmad Mir, residents of Zewan. Stake money of rupees 2,500 and playing cards were recovered from the gambling spot. A case FIR number 06/18 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up.(KNO)
