Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson Syedah Aasiyah Andrabi on Sunday paid glorious tributes to Saima Wani of Chaigund village who achieved martyrdom today after battling for life for 18 days. Saima was injured on January 24 after Indian Brahmin army shoot at her head as she was trying to rescue militants including her brother, Sameer Ahmad Wani, who were caught in gunfight with occupational Brahmin army at Chaigund*. Syedah Aasiyah said that despite curbs thousands participated in her last rites amid intense pro-Pakistan, pro-Islam, and anti-India slogans. “Saima was a brave Mujahidah who was trying to rescue Muajhid brothers.” Paying tributes to the Shaheed brother and sister, Andrabi prayed to the Almighty Allah to bless the family of the brother-sister duo and give them patience to bear the loss. Further, the DeM chairperson paid rich tributes to the Mujahideen who carried out a Fidayeen attack on Indian occupational army camp in Jammu. She prayed to Almighty to accept their Shahadah. “We want to ask India for how long will it keep the pot of blood boiling in Kashmir,” she questioned? She said that the people in India are well aware of the situation in Kashmir but their politicians have led them astray, time and again. She said that the rulers of India and their stooges in Kashmir should realize it sooner than later that the people of Kashmir have rejected India, long ago. “They should understand that people of Kashmir have taken to arms against Indian military occupation. For how long will they keep us occupied,” she asked? She appealed the international organizations to read the writings on the wall and help stopping bloodshed in Kashmir. “It is imp that Kashmir issue be solved as per the UNSC resolutions.” She said that Pakistan should call for an immediate security council session and tell the world about the gross human rights violations in Kashmir and impress upon resolving the Kashmir dispute.(KNO)
