DPR framed, land acquisition on for Grid Station, Gurha Kalyal : Asiea Naqash | KNO

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 12 (KNO) : Minister of State for Power Asiea Naqash today informed the Legislative Assembly that the Government has framed Rs 64.12 crore DPR for construction of 220/33 KV, 2x50 MVA new Grid Station and laying of Transmission Line at Gurha Kalyal in Billawar . Replying to a question of legislator Thakur Balbir Singh, the Minister informed that the project has been proposed under Prime Minister Development Package (PMDP). She further said that the land has been identified for the project and acquisition is under process. The project would be completed in three years, she added. She said to begin with, the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department released Rs 12 lakh which was used to procure material. Legislator Javed Ahmad Mirchal also raised supplementary question related to the main question.(KNO)
