Geelani Addressed Telephonic, 'Paid Rich Tributes To Slain leader' | KNO

Srinagar, February 15 (KNO) : A condolence meeting was held at Sandipora Budgam by Hurriyat Conference and while addressing the meeting, Syed Ali Geelani said that Mohammad Yusuf Nadeem was a valiant son of soil and an intellectual par excellence. Terming him as most humble and dedicated soul, a selfless human, an ideologue, a great freedom fighter, a great patriot, an intellectual and a symbol of struggle and sacrifices, Syed Ali Geelani in his telephonic address paid his tributes to slain leader.

Thousands of mourners attended the condolence meeting and paid their tributes to slain leader. Paying tributes to slain Nadeem, Syed Ali Geelani lashed at state sponsored agencies and said that assassins are enjoying the backing and full support from their sponsors, saying that a territory which is occupied by seven lakh forces personnel, roaming with lethal weapons, can never be a safe place for people and leaders like Shaheed Nadeem.

Addressing the mourners and paying tributes to slain leader, Syed Ali Geelani said that late Nadeem had a unique personality and left a void that will never be filled ever and pledged that these cowardly acts won’t deter them from pursuing their mission, nor will these suppressive and aggressive measures will make them surrender. Praying for the departed soul, Syed Ali Geelani extended his condolences to bereaved family and prayed for their forbiddance to bear this irreparable loss.

The condolence meeting was presided over by Huriyat general secretary Haji Gh Nabi Sumji and many dignitaries including several personalities from resistance and religious camp, and business fraternity including Ad Muhammad Shafi Rishi, Nisar Hussain Rather ,Hakim Ab Rashid , Syed Mohd Shafi, Musaib Ahmad ,Gh Mohammad Nagu, Mohamad Yusuf Naqash ,Mohammad Yusuf Bhat ( Awami Action Committee ) Bilal Sidiqee, Noor Mohammad Kalwal ,Gh Ahmad Gulzar Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi ,Mohd Yusuf Bhat , Syed Imtiyaz Hyder , Gh Ali Gulzar , Mohammad Ali Shuja and representative from Tehreek-e-Khawateen Kashmir and others .(KNO)
