Police public meeting held at Police Stations Kargil & Pantha Chowk | KNO

*Srinagar, February 15 (KNO) : On the direction of SSP Kargil Shri T.Gyalpo and under the supervision of Additional SP Kargil Shri Arun Gupta, a PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Kargil by SHO Kargil Inspector Ghulam Ali in presence of SI Feroze Ahmed Incharge Police Post Shilikchey Bazar Kargil. The meeting was participated by the office bearers of Merchant Association, Taxi Operators Union, Bus Operators Union, Omni Van Union, Mini Bus Operators Union, 407 Mini Truck Operators Union and 207 Load Carrier Union. During the meeting, the Office Bearers of these Associations put forth their grievances to which the Officers gave a patient hearing and assured that the issues under the ambit of District Police Kargil will be redressed on priority basis and those issues pertaining to other departments will be forwarded to them for their early redressal. SHO Kargil also assured them that District Police Kargil is committed to serve the public and for which cooperation from all the stakeholders is required immensely. Moreover, SHO Kargil briefed the participants that they should follow the directions passed on time to time by senior formations like not indulging in rash and negligent driving, wearing proper uniforms, avoiding wrong parking, not to indulge in overloading, using proper number plates which would ensure their safety as well as the safety of the passengers. Later the office bearers of the Associations thanked Distict Police Kargil for listening to them time and again through these PCPG meetings. *Srinagar, February 15 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at police station Pantha Chowk. With an aim to strengthen relations with pubic & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police station Pantha Chowk convened a public interaction meeting in which good number of respectable citizens of Zewan locality participated . The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Pantha Chowk Inspector Shri Mehboob Ahmad. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace and drug addiction in the area and some issues related to civil administration. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Pantha Chowk assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought the cooperation of the participants to fight social crimes.(KNO)
