Budgam 16 Feb (KNO) : Reiterating that violence is not a solution to the issue, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rasheed has condemned the killing of Pro-Resistance activist Mohd Yousuf Nadeem and expressed solidarity with the family. While addressing a gathering organized at the residence of slain leader today at Sandipora Budgam Er.Rasheed said that resolution to Kashmir dispute through Right to Self Determination is the only way to stop humility from bleeding. Er Rasheed said,

“Those trying to divide Kashmiris on Geographical, ethnic, communal and sectarian lines need to understand the fact that the resolution of Kashmir issue is deep desire of every Kashmiri for the reason having sacrificed a lot and have a strong argument and logic while seeking a resolution to dispute. Hundreds like Nadeem faced hardships throughout their life and ultimately had to pay a huge cost for calling spade a spade. The security agencies have always been very prompt in claiming and ascertaining those behind mysterious killings, but their silence over Nadeem’s killing leaves many questions unanswered”.

Er. Rasheed also visited Bilal Kawa’s residence at Aali Kadal downtown Srinagar who was arrested in New Delhi for fake charges and released few days back. While congratulating the family for his release Er. Rasheed said that there are scores of innocent Kashmiris still languishing in Jails outside state, whose only crime is that they are Muslims and Kashmiris. Er. Rasheed appealed international community to persuade New Delhi to release all Kashmiri political prisoners and those who have been put under continuous detention for false charges.(KNO)
