Though the MG NAREGA flagship scheme is being implemented in the state and 100 days of unskilled job (work) is guaranteed in this scheme to job card holders, the wages to job card holders as per the guidelines of MG NAREGA are to be made within the fortnight (15 days) but unfortunately the wages to the labourers are yet to be paid from several months in the Block chitragam.
The people of the chitragam Shopain alleged that they have worked under the MG NAREGA in their respective Halqas ,several months had passed but their payments are yet pending. They alleged that the tactics are being played with the poor people,as the Block Chitragam is not disbursing the payments from several month's.
When contacted with the concerned block development officer(BDO) chitragam ,he said," we don't have such kind of liabilities in our block ,we are disbursing the payments through EFMS which only takes 2-3 days we will look into this matter (KNO)
