Court clears Kashmir police officer in infamous sex scandal | KNO

A Special Court of CBI has acquitted a Jammu Kashmir Police officer in infamous 2006 sex scandal case. Reports said that the court cleared the name of DSP Muhammad Yousuf Mir after the witness and the victim turned hostile.

The court acquitted him under Section 376 of the Ranbir Penal Code Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and section 67 of the Information and Technology Act. He had been accused of sexually exploiting a minor for money via a brothel run by the prime accused Sabeena and her husband in 2004.
