Police seek public help to solve fatal hit-and-run case in Nowgam | KNO

Srinagar: Police Station Nowgam has sought public help to elicit information about a fatal hit-and-run incident that took place at Nowgam square on 30 October last year. A tipper mowed down a motorcyclist and fled from the spot.

“We lost a precious life in the form of one Tanveer Hussain Dar son of Muhammad Yusuf Dar, a resident of Balhama. There is a case registered at Nowgam Police Station.

However, we haven’t found any evidence yet. If anyone has any knowledge about the incident or can give us any information about the tipper and its driver, he can contact us on these numbers: 9419000138; 8494000138; 9596770559; 9596770882.

The identity of the person who wants to share any related information shall be kept confidential,” the police said.
