Sharply reacting to the undue criticism over his son’s recruitment, senior ruling PDP leader Mohammad Sartaj Madni has said “children of political workers have also right to exist with dignity, if not, bring them to Lal Chowk and hang them.” Pertinently, MBA from prestigious University in Chennai with shinning academic record Syed Aroot Madni the son of PDP leader and vice President Mohammad Sartaj Madni is being appointed as Executive Officer in Khadi & Village Industries board to which few selected netizens have raised questions on Social networking sites over the appointment.

Reacting to the criticism, Sartaj Madni said If they believe our children do not have right to exist with dignity and even raise questions on genuine ways of political leaders and workers children getting jobs then all the children of Political workers should be brought to Lalchowk and hanged. Pertinent to mention here, Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani last year also faced the same criticism over his grandson’s appointment as research officer at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC).

The government spokesman had later clarify that no rules were bent on appointment of Geelani's grandson. Why this unnecessary commentaries being run when all the due process has been followed. The children of Politician have also right to live with dignity and for that they require genuine means to earn. Criticism for the sake of criticism by armchair analysts on Facebook or Twitter who does not know anything about ground realities does not augur well.

We should be accurate in our evaluation of the given situations rather than getting driven by false emotions.” stated Manzoor Ahmad, a youth. Advocate Nadeem Yousuf while talking to KNB states –“Legally there is no bar in a politician son or daughter qualifies for a Government job by following due procedure without any undue influence which has been followed clearly in this case. We need to be more matured in our responses while analyzing the contours of the burning issues.

Right to live with dignity is basic human right of all and we have much burning issues that go unaddressed and do not face our Criticism and it is mainly because we entangle ourselves in non –issues.”
