DDC Kulgam & SSP Kulgam inaugurated free coaching programme for civil service aspirants | KNO

Srinagar, February 24 (KNO) : District Development Commissioner Kulgam Shri Talat Parvaiz and SSP Kulgam inaugurated coaching cum felicitations Centre for Civil aspirants of the district here. The programme was organised by District Administration in collaboration with Police department Kulgam.

He was accompanied by SSP Kulgam Shridhar Patil, ADC Shri Parvaiz Raina, Principal GDC Kulgam and some subject experts from Pune. Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that the initiative was taken up in order to give exposure to the candidates for taking up civil services exams. He further said that need of the hour is to provide a platform to the candidates who have burning desire to prove their mettle but lack the basic facilities.

While lauding the team of officers who are the part of the initiative, DDC appreciated the team for their dedication and delivering the required services. SSP Kulgam Shridhar Patil highlighted the aims & objectives of the programme and expressed that the need of the hour is to organise such facilitations centres for the aspiring youth.

He interacted with the participant aspirants and impressed upon the aspirants of Civil Services to avail the benefits of experts, faculty members and available sources within the complex (Training Centre).

He said all the support be it faculty, guidance and exposure trip if needed would be provided by district administration and Police Kulgam to the aspirants of Civil Services. Earlier the Principal GDC Kulgam Prof Bashir Ahmad Rather gave a welcome address & threw light upon the scope and avenues of Civil Services in Kashmir.(KNO)
