POLICE PUBLIC MEETING HELD AT SEWA CHIRALLA THATHRI | KNO

DODA , FEB 29 (KNO) SP Operation Doda Ravinder Paul Singh held a PCPG meeting at Sewa Chiralla on the direction of SSP Doda Shri. Mohammad Shabir. The meeting was attended by 100/150 respectable from all walks of life including Sh Bodh Raj Lamberdar, Sh Mohd Amin, Sh Bashir Ahmed, Ram Parshad, Mohd Sharief, Krishan Chand, Satish Chander, Sanjeet Singh, Lok Raj etc.

During the meeting the participants put forth their demands viz. (1) Black topping of road from Puneja to Sewa Chiralla. (2) Continuous electricity/water supply during winter season. (3) Establishment of Crime Police Post at Sewa Chirlla. (4) Up-gradation of Dispensary to PHC with Good no of staff (5) Establishment of J&K Bank Branch at Sewa Chiralla. (6) Replacement of Transformer 25KV to 100 KV. (07) Construction of protection wall river side at Sewa Chiralla. (08) Replacement of electric poll and wire in the area. (9) Establishment of IGNOU Study centre at Sewa Chiralla.(10) Construction of Bathroom at Higher Secondary School Sewa Chiralla. (11) The participants demanded that Tehsil Hqrs is functional at Sewa Chiralla but most of its branches and the other departments are functioning from Thellala due to which general public is facing inconvenience and have demanded for establishing of all offices upto Tehsil level at Sewa Chiralla.

The participants were assured that their genuine demands will be taken up with concerned departments for redressal and those pertaining to the Police Department will be redressed on priority. SP Operation Doda, urged upon the participants to co-operate and strengthen the hands of Police, so that the social crime, smuggling of Drugs, bovine, illicit liquor, forest produce etc be eradicated from the area.

The participants were assured that District Police Doda is trying its best to curb the crime from the society and asked for more cooperation from public, so that a crime free atmosphere is build up in the area. Moreover, they were asked to maintain peace and communal harmony in the area. Moreover SP Operation Doda held a darbar of Police Jawans of Operation Groups of Chiralla area. During the course of darbar, the participants put forth several requests with regard to their welfare . SP Operation Doda patiently heard the grievances of the Jawans and assured them that their demands shall be addressed on priority.

While addressing the participants, SP Operation Doda exhorted upon the Officers/Jawans to perform their duties with zeal and dedication , devotion and come up to the expectation of the general public. They were emphasized upon to remain disciplined, punctual & respond promptly to the woos of the general public. Build a strong bond of relationship with the general public and treat them politely. They should keep themselves away from the menace of drugs /smoking/ liquor etc. Any officer/official having any kind of grievance can approach to SP Operation Office Doda for assuaging their problems. Those officers/officials who will discharge excellent duties shall be rewarded suitably, but also cautioned to those who are found in taking law in their hand. (KNO)
