The residents in Pulwama town have warned to make stir if police failed to find the culprit who allegedly had kidnapped a mentally challenged minor girl and assaulted her. the minor girl had been taken from outside her house where she routinely used to be on Pulwama Srinagar road. the minor had sustained injuries in her head and face in which she had got about two dozen stitches.
The younger sister of the victim told she (victim) had boarded a Maruti Alto car bearing number JK01K3883 on Monday February 19 but she made her to board out of their car and then went to perform her daily chores. she further said that she soon went out and find both her sister and the vehicle missing from the spot. The father of the victim said that they soon lodged a complaint in Police station Pulwama after making primary search in the village. a neighbour, Mohammad Iqbal Bhat who is accompanying the family in the pursuing to get justice and bring the culprits to book said after searching for about two hours he circulated a message on social networking sites.
" in the morning i received a call from SKIMS JVC branch where the caller identified himself as one of the doctors and said that he too had received the viral photo via social networking sites," said Iqbal. the family, however, said that police was not taking the case seriously and were trying to hush it up by making it just an accident case.
