Army , JKP, CRPF discusses North Kashmir security situation at high level meeting in Srinagar | KNO

A high level joint meeting of Army, Jammu & Kashmir Police and CRPF was held at Kilo Force Headquarters at Sharifabad on 26 Feb 2018.

The meeting was chaired by Maj Gen AK Singh, Kilo Force Commander and IGP Kashmir apart from various Sector Commanders, Commanding Officers and SSPs of all districts of North Kashmir. Senior Officers of the respective services interacted with an array of functional level officers and reviewed the security situation in North Kashmir. Apart from sharing of ideas and objectives, review of intelligence and operations was carried out which led to defining a joint future strategy to counter the designs of militants.

Besides sharing of intelligence and ideas, the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, SP Pani assured everyone of total support and synergy between the Security Forces. IG CRPF also gave valuable insights and assured the gathering of continued support during all operations. Maj Gen AK Singh emphasised that the entire North Kashmir is well geared to fight against the militants and exhorted everyone to continue working towards bringing peace and harmony in the region
