Traffic Police NH launched special drive from Nashri to Banihal | KNO

BATOTE (KNO) : Traffic Police National Highway today launched a drive against the traffic violators and challaned 80 vehicles and booked the offenders here today from Nashri to Banihal .During the drive SSP NH Sanjay Bhagat booked 80 traffic violators in different offences like triple riding, without seat belt, wearing crash helmet, over speed, without driving licence and overloading vehicles.

During the drive traffic cops asked the people to follow the traffic rules. Under the drive, special attention is being given on four specific points, which play crucial role in road mishaps on National Highway in this mountainous area.While elaborating, SSP Traffic NH Sanjay Bhagat said special instructions issued to check element of deception through camouflaged number plates and drug addiction.He further said, an awareness campaign has been launched to instill a sense of respect for human beings so that the drivers on their own prefer to ply the vehicles with responsibility.

He said on the direction of the IG traffic they have launched a drive against the traffic violators adding that the drive would continue for one week.(KNO)
