Joint law and order training programme held in Anantnag | KNO

Srinagar, March 08 (KNO) : To ensure synergy and to adopt latest SOPs in handling law and order situations, Anantnag police have started three-day joint (Police and CRPF) Law and Order training camp at DPL Anantnag.

The Anantnag Police have come up with a special training session for J&K Police and CRPF personnel to handle law and order situations, stone pelting and unlawful gathering. The 3-day joint training programme was inaugurated by the DIG CRPF Mr Mohsin Shahidi in presence of DIG South Kashmir Range Shri Amit Kumar. SSP Anantnag Shri Altaf Ahmed Khan introduced the officers and participants about the purpose of training and its contents. SSP Anantnag stressed on the importance of dealing with law and order problems without causing serious injuries to the agitating mob.

On the occasion DIG SKR Shri Amit Kumar said that our priority is always to protect the lives of citizens in every situation. He further said that the situations are changing continuously across the state and therefore, it is necessary to impart special training where the Police personnel are imparted special skills to tackle issues related to changing law and order problems. The inaugural session was attended by Superintendent of Police Hqrs.
