Khursheed Alam chairs House Committee meeting on Spurious Drugs | KNO

JAMMU, MARCH 08 (KNO) : A meeting of House Committee on “Spurious Drugs” was held here today under the Chairmanship of MLC, Mohammad Khursheed Alam. Legislators, Naresh Gupta, Showkat Hussain Ganai and Ramesh Arora attended the meeting. The Committee discussed threadbare various issues with regard to spurious drugs being supplied in government health institutions of the State which was divulged in the GAG report earlier.

The Committee also sought action taken report on the issue. The Committee discussed the issues with regard to purchase and installation of diagnostic and allied equipment including CCTV cameras and computers in Super-Specialty Hospital, Jammu. Among others, Special Secretary Legislative Council, Mohammad Ashraf Wani and other senior officers and officials were present in the meeting. (KNO)
