DIG NKR chairs security meet, holds darbar with officers and Jawans on his visit to Handwara | KNO

Srinagar, March 13 (KNO) : Deputy Inspector General of Police North Kashmir Range Dr. Sunil Gupta visited District Police Lines Handwara and holds a darbar of officers and Jawans, besides, chaired an officers meet. The DIG was briefed about the current situation of the district including crime, law and order and other related issues by SSP Handwara Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani. Dr. Sunil Gupta gave a patient hearing to the reports /grievances put forth by Jawans, and he assured them of their speedy redressal.

While addressing the officers and Jawans the Dr. Sunil Gupta lauded the role played by Handwara police in maintain peace in the district. The DIG also chaired an officers meet in which security scenario of the district was reviewed and measures to be taken were deliberated upon. Among others SDPO Handwara Shri Shabir Ahmad Khan, Dysp Shri Tariq Mehmood, DySP DAR Shri Farooq Ahmad Shah and other police officers were also present.(KNO)
