SRINAGAR, MARCH 14 (KNO) : After enjoying their holiday trip to Kashmir which concluded on Wednesday, officials at the Malaysian High Commission vowed to encourage their citizens to visit Valley for holidaying.

Counsellors, Mohammad Hafiz Bin Othman and Zamil, Advisor Dr Ahmad Sham Baharin and Immigration Attaché Siti Zulaikha Binti Abdul Wahab at Malaysian High Commission along with their families were mesmerized by the beauty of Kashmir and local hospitality. Notably, the diplomats had expressed their willingness to visit Kashmir at a recently held Ambassadors’ Meet organised by Tourism department Kashmir in collaboration with Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) at New Delhi.

Ambassadors from different countries including the Malaysian Ambassador along with their officials from the High Commission had attended the Meet at New Delhi and expressed the desire to visit Kashmir. Director Tourism Kashmir, Mahmood A Shah interacted with the Malaysian diplomats and apprised them about the remarkable tourism products the state of J&K has to offer. During the interaction, the diplomats informed Director Tourism that they are receiving numerous queries from their native country about their travels to Kashmir.

The diplomats said that on their visit, they witnessed a true picture of the beautiful place that is rightly called as heaven on earth. The visiting delegates said they would post their travel pictures form Kashmir on their official website and promote Kashmir among their countrymen. “They also promised to promote Kashmir by encouraging their citizens to visit the Valley without having any fear,” said Director Tourism.(KNO)
