A Kulgam youth, who was allegedly kidnapped, beaten and injured by militants, succumbed to his injuries in a Srinagar hospital on Thursday.
Omais Rashid Bhat who was allegedly roughed up and tortured by militants on March 8 succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS this morning. He was released in almost an unconscious state after which he was shifted to hospital for treatment. Sources said that Omais breathed his last this morning and his body was taken to his native village for last rites.
