Police on Thursday said that the encounter at Halmatpora Kupwara is at controlling stage and the searches are underway at some places.
"Operation is at controlling stage, searches are underway at some places. We have recovered arms & ammunition in large quantity" IGP Kashmir SP Pani said. Pertinently, five security forces' personnel, including three Army men, have been killed in the encounter in the dense forests of the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir so far, officials said.
