Tree plantation drive launched in Rafiabad : Police | KNO

Srinagar, March 23 (KNO) : Sopore Police launched a plantation drive in Sub Division Rafiabad. The drive was inaugurated at SDPO Office in Chijhama by DFO Forest Division Langate Shri. Mohammed Ayoub Pandit. The aim of the drive was to promote the ideals of sustainable ecology.

During the drive, around 500 saplings of different varieties were planted at various establishments of Police Sub Division Rafiabad, including Police Station Panzla, Police Station Dangiwacha and Police Post Watergam. Among others, SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Dr. Mohammed Idrees, Asstt Commandment 92BN CRPF Shri. Tripati, Range officer Rajwar Shri. Mohammed Altaf, Range Officer Magam Rashidudin and other officers of Police and Forest department were also present on the occasion.(KNO)
