Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Friday said that Pakistan is an ideological state and people of Jammu and Kashmir want to be part of it only on the basis of this (Islamic) ideology. She said this on eve of the Pakistan Day while congratulating the people and the government of Pakistan day. “ We know that on March 23, 1940 a resolution was passed in which it was resolved that a separate and exemplary country will be formed for the Muslims of Sub-Continent.

It was decided that this state will be formed on the principles of Islam and will be named as Pakistan,” Andrabi said in a statement. She said that in just seven years and lakhs of sacrifices, the Allah SWT blessed the Muslims of Sub-Continent with this country. “This country was given to us by the Almighty Allah SWT because Muslims have a different identity. There are only two nations in the world—Muslims and the infidels and Muslims got this country only on the basis of their faith,” she added.

“It was decided that this country will serve as an example of pious Islamic Republic to show to everyone how great an Islamic system is,” she added. Andrabi said that though Muslims of the sub-continent got the country, an ideological state based on Islamic principles is yet to be formed.

“The system for which this country was given to us by the Allah SWT has not yet been implemented in Pakistan. So today, we once again resolved that Jammu and Kashmir is a place which is struggling since past 70 years to be a part of this ideological state on the basis of this pious ideology. InshaAllah, for that, we will continue our struggle against the illegal Indian occupations,” she added.

“This struggle will continue until JK becomes a part of Pakistan on the Islamic principles and on the basis of our faith,” she added. Andrabi said that the 10 million Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir and 200 million Muslims of Pakistan will inshaa Allah together live in an ideological state which will be run on the principles and the rules of Islamic faith. “Pakistan will be a place where every system will be based on the Islamic principles and Allah SWT’s orders and laws will be of supreme importance,” she added.

Congratulating the people and the government of Pakistan, Andrabi said that after passing of this resolution Muslims of the sub-continent have only one identity i.e. they are Pakistani. “After passing this resolution which is based on the Islamic principles, we have pledged that there will be no Kashmiri, no Sindhi, no Bengali, no Balochi, no Pathan or anyone else.

There is only one identity which is we are Pakistani and Pakistan is ours. On individual level these identities may matter but on a collective level we are just Pakistanis. Pakistan is our nation and we out rightly reject other nationalities because Pakistan was formed with an aim to create an Islamic Republic and on that basis, we are one,” she added. Meanwhile, a spokesperson said, Dukahtaran Millat organised programmes across Kashmir to celebrate the Pakistan Day in which hundreds of members of the organisation participated. “ The largest gathering was held in Srinagar which was chaired by the party chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi,” the spokesman added.
