Gulmarg 25 th March-2018 (KNO) : One of the prestigious function of J& K Scouts and Guides Association was held at Gulmarg the famous world Tourist resort ,which was presided by chief commissioner JK scouts Khawaja Farooq Renzu shah chairman Kashmir society international .

Earlier Sufi Scouts paid respect at Dargah sharief of Hazrat BabaReshi on Reshi mountains of Tangmarg.Renzu Shah while addressing JK Scouts said that for last 20 years the contribution of JK scouts at state ,National and international level has remained extraordinary for Human integration.

He said that Even scouts from Britian and other countries have aclaimed talent of jk scouts.He said Kashmir is abode of knowledge ,and intellect besides that Martial sports have remained very famous since times immemorial .He said jk scout is also Martial supports which strengthen morals of our scouts.He said that with introduction of right handshaking and right hand salutes in scouting we have found that majority of youth prefer JK Scouts as their main stream for scouting .He said that kampories and Heritage walks as well as ensuring banning of Polythene in jk state became land marks by JK scouts and guides.

He said that Scouts have great role to play in enriching society through their Positive Perceptions .The commissioner JK scouts Budgam Mr.showkat mir conducted the programme. The cultural show was presented by Mr. Pandit on this Occasion. On this occasion Mr Hanief CEO of Gulmarg WAS chief guest on the occasion .Mr.Dhilon Gulmarg skiing head and General Manager Gandola and other officers as well as prominent citizens of area were also present to grace occasion .The CEO Gulmarg Mr.mukhtar ahmed- president hotliers club Gulmarg was also awarded with Scaruf of honour.
