Police public meeting held at SDPO West office, Srinagar | KNO

Srinagar, March 25 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at SDPO office West Srinagar. With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, SDPO West convened a public interaction meeting in which a number of respectable citizens of Gousia Colony Bemina participated.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO West Shri Furkan Qadir. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration especially scarcity of drinking water, electricity and also raised their demand for Fire & Emergency Services in the area. The participants appreciated the role of police in curbing the social crimes in the area.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SDPO West assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought the cooperation of participants in fighting social crimes. The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks.(KNO)
