Srinagar, March 26 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at police station Nigeen. With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police station Nigeen convened a public interaction meeting in which a number of respectable citizens of the area participated.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Nigeen Inspector Shri Manzor Ahmad. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration.
The participants appreciated the role of police in curbing the social crimes. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Nigeen assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought the cooperation of participants so that the peaceful atmosphere is maintained in the area.
