Blood donation camp organised in Kakapora | KNO

Pulwama 26 March (KNO) : Kakapora Development forum in collaboration with Primary Health Centre Kakapora, Social Workers Committee, Weekly City Reporter, Traders federation Kakapora and Kam Committee today organised Blood Donation Camp at PHC Kakapora. Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Highlighting the importance of donating blood DDC said that such activities shape up the outlook of youth and inculcate the spirit of social activism among them He said donating blood has great reward from God and we all shall come ahead to donate blood to save the human lives . DDC said that the aim and objective of organizing these camps should be to create awareness among masses and to motivate them for donating blood. He stressed that many lives could be saved through blood donation and urged all the healthy people to donate blood once in three months. He extend thanks to all those people who donate their blood voluntarily and encouraged others to be part of the noble cause.

The day-long camp witnessed collection of 95 points of blood points. Among others, Director finance, Deputy Director Drug abuse,Tehsildar Kakapora, Chief Medical officer Pulwama BMO Pampore other Officers and officials of various departments ,Volunteers from Different NGO´s, Trade members and large no of people were present on the occasion .(KNO)
