Tassaduq Mufti inaugurates golf tournament at Royal Springs Golf Course | KNO

SRINAGAR, MARCH 27 (KNO) : The Minister for Tourism, Tassaduq Hussain Mufti on Tuesday along with President Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) Sunil Kumar inaugurated a Golf Tournament at Royal Springs Golf Course to showcase golf potential to visiting delegates in Kashmir valley.

Secretary Tourism Sarmad Hafeez, Director Tourism Mehmood Ahmad Shah and Joint Director Information Zahoor Ahmad Mir along with other officers were present on the occssion. Tassaduq Mufti, while addressing a press conference on the occasion, laid stress on strategizing tourism promotion to improve tourist footfall during this tourism season in Srinagar.

He said the tourism ministry having entered into a partnership with TAAI hopes for a better start to the year. He said several policies are being formulated which shall prove beneficial to the sector. Pertinently, TAAI is observing 64th convention and exhibition in Srinagar. The TAAI President Sunil Kumar thanked the Tourism Department for entering into a partnership with them.(KNO)
