Family Of Faid Mushtaq Appeals To Their Son, Who May Have Joined Militancy, To Return Home.

Srinagar (KNO)  : The family of Faid Mushtaq Waza a youth from Khanyar Downtown area of Srinagar today held protest at Press enclave Srinagar. Faid who has been missing since 23 March and is believed to have joined militant groups have pleaded him to return.

While talking with her mother namely Mymoona told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) That Faid, lied first time ever to me in his life I can’t believe that he taked this step. Faid worked as a Sheff with his father and was the Younger brother among two brothers. On Friday 23 March he said that I have to went for Tableegi Jamaat (evangelists). For 3 days and did not return.

A day after he went missing, the a photo of the 19-year-old surfaced on social media, yesterday where he was seen holding an assault rifle, with a message claiming that he had joined militant group Lashker E Toiba. suggesting that the families fears have come true.

"We lodged a Missing Report in Khanyar Police Station on 26 march 2018.Faid’s mother Mymoona said. Faid’s family include his mother, father, grandfather, grandmother and two elder bothers who are all in deep shock. Mymoona said that its my earnest appeal to my son is to join back to his family as his father and me is suffering from heart problem we are also requesting to those childrens whom he have joined to sent my Son back “Please come back to home. Your family members are waiting for you.

Who will take care of us?” she appealed him during protest at press colony Srinagar. Mymoona pleaded with folded hands to her son, asking him to come back. Her 19-year-old son were seen in viral picture on social networking with picked up arms and joined a militant outfit. Mymoona were seen wailing and fervently asking her son return. “Please return my son, for the sake of my motherhood, return,” the woman cries in Press Colony Srinagar. In the last week, 2 Youth have joined Militancy including the son of Hurriyat Chairman and the son of a Police constable.
