Warm send off accorded to Tariq Ahmad Zargar | KNO

Poonch,March 30 (KNO) : District Development Commissioner (DDC) Tariq Ahmad Zargar was accorded a warm send off in a series of functions organized by district officers and civil society organizations at Poonch and Surankote.

Speaking on the occasion, Zargar extended his gratitude and appreciated the officers from civil administration and police for giving full support to him to get success in all the administrative and other related matters.

Recalling his initial days of posting in the district, Tariq Ahamad Zargar said that there were several challenging issues at the time he joined as DC Poonch but with the cooperation of good team of officers, general public and above all support of public representatives he succeeded in Implementing various government schemes in a better way and realized desirable results on the ground.

He asked the officers to work tirelessly and follow up the decisions which district administration had promised with public in recent times during his field visits and particularly the decisions and commitments made in the interest of people during CM's public outreach program in the district. He hoped that same support will be given to the next DC to take the District to its new heights.

Earlier, the speakers from civil society, police and district administration threw light on his patience,dedication, excellence, behaviour, sincerity,adminstrative skills, innovative power and qualities of servings poorest among the poor. Among others,SSP Rajiv Panday,ADDC Abdul Hamid Sheikh,SDM Mendhar Rahul Kumar Yadav,Supertindent engineer PHE Rajouri Poonch range, ADC Dr Bashrat Hussein,joint director planning Seva Ram Bhagat, Assistant commissioner revenue Ashraf Choudhary and all others district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.(KNO)
