Srinagar April 3 (KNO) : According to the spokesperson of the party Senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman Islamic Political Party JK Mohammad Yousuf Naqash while strongly condemning the civilian killings and blood bath in Indian occupied Kashmir has said that this blood bath has resulted in huge causalities including the martyrdom of armed youth and civilians and more than 100 injured most of them seriously who were intentionally targeted by Indian occupation forces to kill them.

Every human heart is sinking and deploring, condemning and grieving this blood bath. It is the matter of grave concern for us that our younger generation is continuously felling to the bullets of Indian forces and we are heading towards losing the 3rd generation. While as people of Kashmir have already lost two generations in pursuit of inalienable Right to Self Determination promised by both India and Pakistan and recognized by world through many Kashmir specific United Nations resolutions which India is denying and delaying using brute forces to crush, curb and dilute this genuine demand of Kashmiri people.

Unless India shuns its rigid and unrealistic approach of maintaining status quo in occupied Kashmir to think of prevailing peace in Kashmir and South Asia will be just day dreaming not reality. Hope lies in sincere and sustained dialogue between the parties to the dispute to which India is so far reluctant. If India really yearns for peace in Kashmir it should engage in a meaningful, sincere, sustained and result oriented dialogue with Pakistan and Resistance leadership of Kashmir for the honorable and lasting solution of Kashmir in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of its people who very much yearn for peace and are the worst sufferers of this lingering dispute every day suffering the burden of death and destruction.

Naqash while paying rich tributes to the martyred youth expressed solidarity with their families and families of injured youth and these sacrifices won’t go waste and will one day translate in realizing our mission. Meanwhile spokesperson of the party has strongly condemned the police raids on the residence of party Chairman Mohammad Yousuf Naqash and arrest of Mohammad Yasin Malik, Hakim Abdul Rashid, Bilal Sidiqi, Ghulam Mohammad Gulzar , Umar Adil Dar besides the house detention of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai and Mohammad Ashraf Laya Zafar Akbar Bhat, Javid Ahmad Mir and many others.(KNO)
