Police help reunite 52-yr-old man with his family | KNO

A 52-year-old man, who was allegedly found roaming near Indo-Pak border in the Jammu district and was apprehended by the BSF, was handed over to his family members living in Haryana, police said today.

The man, identified as Kedar Nath, was allegedly suffering from a brain ailment and had ran away from his home town Panipat, Haryana on March 28, they said. According to a police officer, Kedar Nath, who on Tuesday night was found roaming under suspicious circumstances near the International Border (IB) Border Out Post at Blue Chak in Arnia sector of Jammu, after hectic efforts was found out to be a resident of Haryana. “He was working at a shop of a scrap dealer in Panipat and had ran away from his home,” the officer said.

Police said after receiving the information of Kedar Nath whereabouts, his family reached Arnia police station and that after some legal formalities he was handed over to his family members.
