Strongly condemning the latest arrest spree in nook and corner of the valley, especially in district Budgam, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) today said that on one hand the men in uniform are killing our youth on one pretext or the other and on the other hand they are being arrested for raising their voice against the ongoing Indian tyranny.

A JKDFP spokesperson vehemently denounced the night raids in Budgam district especially Ompora area where several youths have been arrested. The spokesman said that the fresh arrest spree has been started to crush the rising voices and such acts are sure to push the youth further to wall and will have negative impressions. Condemning repression and despotism against the youth, the JKDFP spokesman said it only proves India’s deceptive politics. Expressing serious concern over the increasing rights violations by the men in uniform in nook and corner of Kashmir, JKDFP said that methods of oppression and suppression only increase the intensity of anger among the suppressed people. He said that arrests can not deter people from demanding their birth right accepted and endorsed by international forums like UNSC.

The JKDFP spokesman stated that New Delhi must shun the path of unscrupulous strategy about Kashmir and adopt a policy which can pave way for the resolution of this long pending Kashmir issue. The resolution of the Kashmir dispute is sure to assure a flourishing subcontinent and a stable south Asia. Paying rich tributes to Shaheed Mussavir Ahmad Wani of Delipora, Pulwama, the JKDFP spokesman said that our heroes will be remembered for their velour and valuable sacrifices for freedom from India.

He said that Shaheed Mussavir and other martyrs have in fact increased our responsibilities to safeguard the precious freedom movement from being derailed. It is our utmost obligation to secure the great sacrifices of our martyrs like Shaheed Mussavir Ahmad. The party spokesman also exhibited solidarity with the martyr’s family members specially parents.
