Srinagar, April 07 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Lal Bazar. With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police Station Lal Bazar convened a public interaction meeting in which members of civil society of Molvi Stop Lalbazar participated. The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Lalbazar Shri Riyaz Ahmad.
The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like drug menace, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration. Participants appreciated the role of police in curbing the crimes from the area. SHO Lal Bazar stressed upon the importance to keep the pavements clean and shunning the habit of unnessary displaying of goods outside the shops.
The participants promised to contribute in keeping the busy area of Lal Bazar hassle free. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Lal Bazar assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He further sought the cooperation of participants in fighting social crimes.(KNO)
