BJP RSS committing atrocities on Dalits and other Minorities to serve vested interest : Congress | KNO

Srinagar April, 9 (KNO) : The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today organized various programmes in Kashmir valley against the atrocities committed on Dalits, Socially Backward Classes and other Minorities living in the country and lodged strong protest against the anti-minority policies adopted by BJP RSS in the Country.

The Party, as part of its Nation-wide programme also observed daylong fast to promote harmony amongst various sections of Society, as that, the BJP RSS under a well-planned conspiracy is instilling fear among the Minorities in the country to serve it’s vested interest In the backdrop of atrocities and barbarism committed on Dalits, Advasis and other Minority communities, Senior Congress Leaders and workers of District Anantnag and Kulgam held a joint programme at Kahanabl to protest against the BJP RSS for adopting anti people polices and expressed serious concern over the deteriorating situation across the country, saying that the Saffron Party is isolating weaker sections of the country aiming to serve their vested interests. In Anantnag District the function was presided over by Senior Congress Leader and MLA Shangus Gulzar Ahmad Wani and addressed by senior leaders. Expressing anguish over the wrong and anti-people policies adopted by the BJP RSS, saying that the communal harmony in the Country is in great threat under NDA rule, which is responsible for disenchantment among the people in the Country. He said Congress Party will not compromise on the secular fabric of the country and is committed to safeguard every section of the people living the Country. India is a secular country and it will remain so, he added and said Congress Party will thwart every move of BJP RSS to disturb communal harmony, diversity and unity in the country. BJP RSS inorder to serve their dirty political ends vitiated the peaceful atmosphere by instilling fear among the minorities and weaker sections of the society to promote their vote bank politics, he said. Similar programmes were held in other District in Kashmir province, where senior party leaders lashed out at BJP RSS for instilling fear among the minorities with the fear of losing power. They expressed serious concern over the discord being promoted by BJP RSS to remain in power, but at the sametime, they felt confident that people of the country will defeat their nefarious designs(KNO)
