Drug peddler arrested in Budgam | KNO

Srinagar, April 15 (KNO) : Continuing its drive against drug menace, Budgam Police arrested a drug peddler with contraband substance. Based on a specific information, a police party of police post Narbal laid a naka near Chinar colony Kawoosa.

During Naka checking one person identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Pandith son of Abdul Ahad Pandith resident of Chek-Kawoosa was apprehended and from his possession 140 bottles of codeine phosphate were recovered. In this regard, a case FIR No. 50/2018 under section 8/22 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Magam and investigation was taken up.
