Hideout busted in Rajwar Handwara, arms & ammunition recovered | KNO

Srinagar, April 22 (KNO) : Based on a specific input Handwara Police along with 21 RR,   92 Bn CRPF launched CASO in general area of Watsar forest area. During searches an old  hideout of militants was  busted and huge quantity of arms & ammunition was  recovered.

It is pertinent to mention here that the area has been highly infested with militancy since  long. In this regard, a was case registered in Police  Station  Handwara and investigation taken up. The following arms & ammunition were recovered: 1. PIKA- 01

7. AK MAG -O6

8. EID INITIATING MECHANISM-04

14. ELECTRIC DETONATOR -- 20
